I live in Nevada. I applied for Social Security Disability Income and was of course turned down. I applied for Reconcideration, and of course was turned down. I went to an attourney, and was told that 'the Social Security Administration doesn't consider Narcolepsy/Cataplexy a disability,' and that I have no case.
I've read that people in other states are getting benifits. Do I need to move to another state? After paying taxes for 35 years, to be told I don't qualify for any help from Local/State or Federal resourses really sucks.
Did I just give up to easy? Have things changed?
I really don't want to live under a bridge.
