yes things have changed , since about 1985 things have gotten slowly better there are still individual soc. sec. offices that are a pain in the butt. If I remember correctly the state of washington has put narcolepsy on the list of impairments which means all you need is a note from your Doc and you're on. You need to get everything thought out before you go in and file a claim
