Posted by Kristy on August 15, 2000 at 17:50:49:I haven't really communicated one on one really with anyone but ya'll, so I wanted to let you know I went to the new doctor today (We'll I didn't see the one I was scheduled to see because they had to continue the doctor's appointments and reschedule... I took the day off to see her and finally got seen by another doctor.) We'll this doctor thinks it is Narcolepsy and could tell I was very frustrated. He could tell that the other neurologist had done nothing to help me get any better, so he gave me a prescription for Ritalin, for a month and I am to return to see the original doctor that I was suppose to see today(she is more familiar with Narcolepsy than any other doctor in that office) But he said she may order another sleep test when I see her and at worse she could just say this doctor was wrong. He said in the meantime maybe I will start living my life like a normal person...
I hope all goes well!!! Are either of you on Ritalin??? Has it helped you??? Are there any side effects??We'll I thought ya'll might be interested in knowing>
