Hi Casey,
I also take Ritalin. When the effectiveness begins to wear off, I have to go off of them a few days. I taper off until I reach one tab. Then no tabs for a day or two. Then begin in again. This usually gives good results, but on the days of tapering and off I don't get much done, other than naps. My husband was on the same antidepressant you are taking, and he had a problem with anxiety and anger, but then he has a problem with that anyway, it just intensified it. He said he had to keep increasing the dose for effectiveness for the depression symptoms. He no longer takes them, as he found the side affects of weight loss, and intense feelings to much. I take Welbutrin and Ritalin. My depression is almost nil now. I was going through some pretty rough times when it was at its worse. After changing drugs and doseages many times I had a terrible psychotic reaction. That woke me up! I realize that I will never be normal. I have accepted this now, and alter my lifestyle accordingly. Some days are really good and almost normal. I am very thankful when that occurs. But for the most part I have very little energy. I am focusing in on my diet and weight control, and physical activity now. I have lost eight pounds of the 50 I put on. It is a struggle, but I know it should improve my energy level. Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth to give you something to think about. Take Care! Donna
