Narcolepsy Network 2000 Annual Conference
(info as of September 3, 2000 - long post but worth it)

Announcing the one and only conference of its kind bringing people
with narcolepsy together each year at various locations throughout
the United States. [Time to nap included.]

Narcolepsy Network 2000 Annual Conference
"Better Communication - Better Living"
Saturday, October 21 - Monday, October 23, 2000
St. Louis, Missouri

PLACE: The Holiday Inn Select, 811 North Ninth Street, St. Louis,
Missouri, 1-800-289-8338 or 314-421-4000.

TARGET AUDIENCE: All persons who have narcolepsy, their families and
friends, caregivers, teachers, counselors and sleep professionals.

LODGING: We always suggest sharing rooms; we'll help if we can. Call
the hotel at 1-800-289-8338 or 314-421-4000 for reservations. The
code for the Narcolepsy Network conference is NAR. Rates for a single
and double are $89 plus tax and $99 plus tax for a triple or quad.
The cut-off date for these rates is September 20, so please reserve
early. After that date, the hotel cannot guarantee availability.

FOOD: Your registration fee includes continental breakfasts all 3
days. Lunches are on your own, so those who wish can nap. There is a
moderately priced restaurant in the hotel and a number of other
places to eat in the neighborhood. Saturday night's riverboat cruise
and dinner are included. If you are a vegetarian, you MUST notify us
when you register.

TRAVEL: AMTRAK has kindly offered us a 10% discount on the basic
coach rate. Call 1-800-USA-RAIL. Mention the Narcolepsy Network
conference and code #X73N-966. Be sure you arrive at the "downtown"
station. You should probably take a taxi from Amtrak to the hotel. If
you take the Metro, get off at the "convention center" stop. If you
drive, the hotel has parking at $8 per day with in and out
privileges. For those who are flying, TWA has offered us a 10%
discount off all F25 and Y25 fares (first class and unrestricted
fares) that are non-stop flights to and from St. Louis and 5% off all
others. Call 1-800-325-4933 M-F from 7am to 7pm CST and mention the
Narcolepsy Network and agreement #V17993. If you are flying and
traveling alone, the Airport Express for $10 one way or $18 round
trip is the best way to get to the hotel. Taxi fare is about $25 and
can be shared.
