We moved to Gloucester in England (from Edinburgh, Scotland) several years ago and although our doctor had some knowledge of Narcolepsy he referred my husband to a Sleep Clinic in Bristol (Burden Clinic). My advice to you would be to ask for a referral to the nearest Sleep Lab where you will be asked to spend one overnight stay so that they can take different readings of your sleep patterns. I wouldn't hold your breath tho' waiting for an appointment - it usually is months not weeks. Good luck, let us know how you get on.
