The Narcolepsy Network offers scholarships to the conference to help people on restricted budgets. I don't know how much the scholarships are worth.
Another thing to consider is that the entire conference is taped and tapes of the sessions are offered for sale. Of course, that doesn't make up for meeting with people that may suffer the same problems that you do.
You can also join the Narcolepsy Network without cost if you explain that you cannot afford it.
