Posted by Casey on September 26, 2000 at 15:43:06:I had my first appointment with the new(est) Doctor today. I found out that he is co-director of the Sleep Center at the local hospital.
I'm switching from Ritalin to Dex. tomorrow.
I'm still using Effexor XL to control Cataplexy.
The longer I took Ritalin, the more anxious I became. The past 3 days I was an anxious mess, running around trying to do 10 things at once, totally wound up. It apparently took it's toll, yesterday wasn't good, today I developed a cold.
The Doc. said Ritalin has that effect on some people, we'll try Dex. and see how I do on that.
Going to the conference is an interesting idea, however there's no way I could afford it. I esp. like the long lunch break with nap time built in, although I haven't been napping at all lately.Anxious/Sniffly/Sleepy,
