Thanks so much for your input - all of you. I guess I'm niave when it comes to the meds...what I've read seems to indicate that the symptoms can be treated even tho narcolepsy cannot be cured.
My sister-in-law is going with me, and I guess she'll be doing more driving than I thought. I still would like some feed back about the semmingly rapid onset of my symptoms...they seem to be getting progressivly worse and almost each day is getting worse. How could I go for so long (almost 3 years) with just the fatigue and "insomnia" and then in the last 3-4 months start with the blanking out, being frozen when I wake, blurred vision, going "out" on the phone...you know. Did these things happen rather quickly for anyone else? Thanks, Nikki
