dear "blue" - thank-you so much. I think it does make sense that it could be hormone related. I guess your body makes a permanent change in that department at menopause.
We have a lot in common...I am also a 'step-grandma' (3x's), but this is somehow different. My daughter is 30 and I never thought I'd see this day! It is so exciting. I will take your good advice and try to rest a lot until the baby comes. Luckily, I'll be in a hotel my first 5 days in Big D, so I won't even have to make-up the bed!
For all my new and kind friends...I have just made an appt. with the Sleep Clinic in Dallas. I am so releived, they even checked for me and Texas is not as strict as NC about the driver's license. It is up to the doctor's discretion, and I am ok with that.
I have also taken your kind advice and my sister-in-law is driving me to Texas. I am much releived about that also. Thanks again everybody! Nikki
