Since it's been over 11 days post-surgery in your case and NOT the typical post-surgical situation, your doc may not treat your case in the same way and may therefore prescribe different medications, especially if you have serious complications. (Even in a typical trouble-free situation, different docs may prescribe different medications for the same purpose.). But if you're simply curious, I was prescribed Keflex (cephalexin) as the antibiotic and Lodine (etodolac) for anti-inflammation.
