I tell you, this whole swallowing problem is truly discouraging because I know for certain that the problem arose AFTER the tonsillectomy. I wonder where I'd get evaluated. My doctor thinks it's only a matter of reflux, but even if the reflux went away, I'd still feel tight and constricted at the back of my throat.

Where are you now in your recovery? Can you swallow normally and without discomfort?

Did you reflux go away?

Can you recommend an over the counter? My doctor says to try Tagamet but I'm doing Maalox and don't think I'm getting good results.
