The pain will subside after about the 10th day or so. Is the medication elixer? That is what I had and it was great. The only problem was it was a generic medication and it burned going down. All was good afterwords though. I started the horse pills after day 9 or 10. I had my surgeries on 5/10 and now I am great. Still a tiny bit tender, but otherwise, I am eating regularly. Most of your pain will probably be inner ear from the nerve endings. I promise it will get better. I thought it would never end. Great luck to you.
