Just had the LAUP a few days ago to correct an elongated growth on my uvula. The surgery area seems to be healing nicely, but... I am now experiencing severe pain where my salivary glands are located - under the tongue, between my ears, & my entire soft palate(a burning sensation with heat, cold, or any food with flavor) with no redness present. Basically, I can only drink luke warm water and eat toast. Is this type of pain something you experienced as well? Or have you heard of anything similar?
Thanks, Mike
