2 surgeries at same time, not a good idea

Hi Brian. It's really incredible for me to know that you went ahead and did the spetoplasty along with the UPPP and tonsillectomy. Talk about crazy! I had the opportunity to do the same procedure, but my doctor advised me against killing two birds with one stone because that would just be begging for double the trouble with pain. What I did instead was break the surgery into two sessions-- the first with the nasal work and the second with the throat. Let this be a proclaimation and lesson to potential septo/tonsil surgery prospectors-- take things easy and go with the two surgeries rather than the big one all at once. Brian here is an example of pain hell. As for myself, I had the septoplasty 3 months ago, and the tonsillectomy 2 months ago, and wow, I am still a bit tired and nimble. The nasal pain is definetly gone. I can breath like magic. As for the throat, still working on getting to swallow food without sips of water in between. I imagine that I will be out of comission for another 2 months. The pain though has gone. Praise be!
