Thanks for all the support-- I'm having an extremely difficult time on CPAP for OSA to the point of being non-compliant. I know someone who died from untreated OSA and and I do NOT want to end up there, still very young, family, etc... I'm trying to calm myself by saying "look, if you can't tolerate CPAP, there IS something you can do to stop yourself from dying." At least if I know a trach isn't the end of the world (and i'm not going to end up talking like an 80 year old man at 34)... I'll be asking you more questions if I actually have to get one, I'm sure :-)
