3 week Somnoplasty Report

Posted by Orion on June 27, 2002 at 20:27:59:

As requested. I went back to my ENT today for my first follow up; he looked in my throat, pronounced me "doing just fine", and set up an appointment in 6 weeks. Said we should start noticing some reduction in snoring over the next couple of weeks. He wants me to bring my wife in with me to get a better feel for changes in my snoring ("You're not awake - she is." he joked) and sent me on my way.

I'm noticing some odd "tightening" feelings in the back of my throat. Like I have a persistant, mild sore throat. The spots are where he inserted the RF probe so I guess the tissue back there is starting to draw back. Not really uncomfortable, just noticeable. My snoring hasn't really decreased according to my wife but it's not supposed to for awhile.
