Each individual is different

Posted by Lidshell on June 28, 2002 at 15:28:15:

I am a 40 year old female on day 4 post op.from UPPP, Tonsillectomy, Septoplasty and Bil. Turbinate Reduction. I became very apprehensive about the pain after reading the boards for about a month. It was bothering me so much that I came close to cancelling the surgery. Well, I must say every individual is different with pain tolerence. So far I have used the pain medication once since I have been home from the hospital. The only real pain I have is in my gums and teeth. Guess they must of had the mouth cranked opened pretty wide. Let's hope I don't eat my words and end up on the ground rolling in pain in a few days.
