I posted on 6/26 with ?'s but no responses. I am finding I am becoming more & more anxious about having the procedure. I awake in the morning and my heart feels like it is racing! I know it is just anxiety about the procedure.

I have never had surgery being in such poor health. I am overweight by 70 lbs and have been sedentary for 3 years now and the thought of general anesthesia really gets to me. I have had 6 surgeries in my life but this one really bothers me the most. We are talking about the AIRWAY here and that spells danger to me. I am also no spring chicken at 44 years of age.

Any encouragement or advice will help. Just how incapacitated will I be? Please read my post of 6/26.
