Posted by SleepyAdia on August 05, 2002 at 19:12:45:I have alot more energy as of late, but lately my throat has been feeling tight and sore.
I am not sure if I am getting sick or what. I thought last week that I was getting sick, but it seemed to go away. But I have been around 2 ppl with bronchitus and one with either strep throat or some throat infection, tests are not back with diagnosis for her. So I am afraid I might be getting one of those germy things they shared.
For the past couple of days, or ever since my ENT pulled and snipped (one pulled out) my two sutures that were bothering me, I have had the dishrag in the throat feeling, even stronger then usual.
And, I have a sore throat. But the sutures were not in my throat, they were in the roof of the mouth where the soft palate was trimmed.
I do have congestion in my head. No stuffy nose or runny nose. Just like a sinus infection type of head congestion feeling. I am just thinking it is the rise in the pollen. And I just started to take the Allegra again, a week ago. So it really has not had time to kick in and work full force.
My throat feels like a squeezing feeling. It only seems to hurt when I swallow or yawn or sneeze. A lil irritation otherwise. It seems like I can feel the line where the palate was trimmed. Which is an annoying feeling. Like an edge.
So I don't know if my feelings are from a cold or sickness or from the surgery itself.
Other then that, I feel pretty good.
I have had a problem with sleeping from time to time. Waking up from dry and pinching throat. I have heard myself make a snoring noise from time to time, when I am drifting off to sleep.
Since I am in the process of moving, I am not always where my hubby is so I don't really know if he notices if I am having the apneas or snoring. Hopefully things will settle down so that I can find out, cuz I know the doctor will want to know.
I go back to the doctor next week to see how things are going. So hopefully I can get some answers in regards to how I am feeling, then.
