Is this normal?

Since the UP3 surgery, now that it is 4 weeks post op, I am feeling like there is hard scar tissue that is where the soft palate was trimmed.

I feel it with my tongue...and when I swallow. It drives me crazy. It gags me. It is also where the uvula was. It has a tiny lil uvula hanging now.....but the tissue feels hard.

Is that normal? I just don't know if I can get used to this. It has felt like this for awhile now and I don't see me getting used to it. It is hard to keep from gagging from the sensation.
