Hi Aida,
My stitches were gagging me when they were coming out and hitting the back of my throat. It drove me up the wall, so much so that I had my husband pull it when the doc couldn't fit me in. If the sensation is anything like that, then I really feel for you because it's SOOOO uncomfortable. What has your doctor said? I had residual tightness in my throat for a while that eventually loosened up, and I feel totally normal now. My surgery was in May. But I didn't have the gagging after that stitch came out. I can't say if that's normal or not, cause we are all so different, and we all have different versions of this procedure. Wish I could help more, and wish I could help make it go away! I hope it all eases up and works uot for you. By the way, did you have any of that 'relearning to swallow' thing going on? Was that at all difficult for you?
Thanks
ZZZZ
