Actually no, I didn't have a problem with swallowing at all.

I heard that I would have to re-learn, but it was not a problem. For the first 8 or 9 days after surgery, I would get stuff go up my nose when I swallowed, everytime. But it went away. I have not had any choking. And I have swallowed some big things.

I do seem to get pills stuck tho. Can't figure that out.

I don't think this feeling I am having is still gagging from sutures, but rather from the scar tissue. I can feel where it was cut and it is very firm. Like a seam that runs over my tongue and I hate it.
