Somnoplasty follow up visit

Posted by Orion on August 08, 2002 at 19:05:15:

Went back to my doctor for my 8-week check up this morning. He had me bring my wife with me to ask her about my snoring (as I'm asleep when I snore and obviously don't hear it).

He asked her on a scale of 4 to 10, 10 being where I started, where she would put my snoring and she said, "About a 7? And I don't hear him stop breathing at night anymore." He nodded, looked in my mouth for all of 5 seconds, and said, "Let's get you scheduled for a 2nd treatment." and sent us out to the receptionist.

So Sept 27th I go back for my 2nd treatment. I feel better and I seem to be sleeping deeply w/o waking groggy and tired like I was. I've had persistent, hard-to-control hypertension for the past 3-4 years and it seems to be more under control these last few weeks. Not perfect, but improving.
