Hi there...read all you can in the archives, they are a wealth of information :-) above, where the forums are listed, it's right above the "post a new message" button, there's a list of acronyms..and what it all stands for. I have severe, stopping 70 times a minute, and for now, am basically untreated as well. I had the UPPP and GA on July 10th..and am still sleepy in the afternoon, so I'm not sure it worked...but a sleep test will tell later on I'm sure. And, down the road, if this surgery corrected the apnea enough, I'll probably go in for the MMA (moving the jaw forward) and hope for the best from that. Welcome to the board :-)
