Well, I had other surgical procedures when I had my tonsilectomy so I am not quite sure how long it will take with just the one procedure.

But I think it will take quite a bit of time.

Everyone heals at a different rate, so it would be hard to say.

If it is bothering you alot, then do as Patrick suggested and try to get in to see the doctor.

Like someone here told me, your brain is used to you mouth and throat for many years and now it was reconstructed so there will be sensitivities for awhile while the brain and your body gets used to it.
