HMO Preexisting cond. issues...still insurable?

Posted by ZZZZ on August 13, 2002 at 12:43:49:

Has anybody on this forum ever had to change jobs while being treated for apnea? I was just wondering, because I have this fear that I won't be able to qualify for insurance if apnea is considered a 'preexisting condition'. My husband's insurance covers both of us...I'm a consultant and don't have any. He needs to change jobs soon. What have your experiences been with this?
Thanks!
