What did your sleep study say about your apnea - obstructive, central, or combination?

Trach is about the LAST stop on the train; there are several others before that. Somnoplasty, UPPP, MMA, GA, turbinate reduction, etc., in no particular order. I've had one course of somnoplasty and my apnea is pretty well gone. I'm having another in September to hopefully reduce it even further. Others have had better success with MMA or the like. Do a search at the top of this page on the "Stanford Procedure" and read up on it.

Also, talk to the people in the Sleep Apnea forum about your problems with CPAP and BPAP. They can give you a lot of useful information on helping to adjust to this.
