UPPP/day 7

Posted by Cop in Virginia on September 11, 2002 at 09:24:45:

Day 7.....woke up feeling great. Had my first big cough since the operation...no pain...but did cough up some white stuff and a small part of a stich, no bleeding. I'm still on pain medication and will take them until they are gone...I would reather be a little "high" all the time then in pain and waiting for the medication to kick in because I did not take it as perscribed.

Scrambled some eggs this morning, they kept getting stuck in about the same location as where my tonsils use to be,,a few swollows of Ice tea took care of this problem.

My sleep is still not "right"...I only sleep for a couple of hours and then am awake for a few hours and then the cycle starts all over again...Hopefully this will work itself out when I go off the pain medication....at least my wife and my 5 year old son say that I do not snore when I'm asleep and they also confirmed that from what they can tell I don't stop breathing like I use to......I guess only time will tell for sure....................

My speach is still very slurred, but is starting to clear up slowly....
