Tx for the response. After my post I found out that they caused an injury to my hypoglossal nerve with the clamp. My doc did a test where I moved my tongue side to side. It was obvious that my right side muscle control is impaired.
He said that they "crushed" the hypoglossal nerve and it should reenervate in six months. He said that this is very rare. However, I went to Medscape.com and found that it is well known in the med community that intubation and tongue clamps and gags cause this nerve damage.
