Wow..

Thanks to everyone for their replies.

I've decided that I'm not going to go ahead with the surgery. If I had true sleep apnea ( even though my surgeon said that all snorer's suffer from some degree of apnea).. then I would go through with it, but for just snoring, from reading all the posts, for me, I don't think it's the answer.
Once again thanks to all who replied. And good luck and best wishes to anyone facing surgery.
