My ENT gave it to me like this: "I can do a UPPP on you, but for the next 2-3 weeks you would wish me dead every waking moment." I elected to try somnoplasty first - which seems to be working out OK. I'm having a 2nd treatment next week because in some sleep positions I still snore loudly, but not nearly as bad as I used to.

Look into the Stanford Procedure. It's a customized series of procedures that start off as non-invasively as possible and ramp up as required. You can find it on the search engine up above.
