Turbinectomy

Posted by texasaggie on September 19, 2002 at 19:45:57:

I am considering this procedure. Newbie to sleep apnea. I have really small nasal passages and while I know this will not cure sleep apnea, my doctor says it may help with the pressure I need from cpap. I have a hard time with the air pressure, feel like I am choking even at a level 3. He plans to do this on out patient, under general anethesia, which is fine with me. But is there alot of after pain with this, any bruising, bleeding, etc? Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
