Hi LH,
I've always had problems with lightheadedness whenever I don't eat regularly. I still have it even after all of my surgeries and being cured. I have never had it diagnosed, but would guess that it is a blood sugar issue. As a woman, it is esp bad around 'that time'.
That said, the fatigue and general tiredness that the apnea caused really exacerbated this problem. There were days that I would be in a cold sweat and about to faint and would have to go outside for air. I haven't had it THAT extremely since I've been 'cured'(reduced to mild apnea). I also have an idea that it is tied in with anemia somehow, which my family is prone to, but ask your doctor cause they are the only one that can tell you for sure.
