I have had no discomfort at all from the screw and no lingering pain from the surgery. It didn't even hurt that bad during the weeks after the surgery. The numbness went away after about 10-12 weeks.
This along with the h/s I had have dropped the RDI from 90 to 40. However, since I still don't sleep, we are looking at the MMA. The Xray was of the side of my head and upper airway, I think they called it a "lateral cephalogram". The screw shows up so well that you can see the threads. I have another meeting with the surgeon this friday (11/4) to go over the final measurements.
