Marty, bostonman, anyone else who had MMA

Posted by rkf on October 01, 2002 at 09:50:22:

I have an appointment with the surgeon this Friday (11/4) about what his measurements and calculations are concerning my facial structure in regards to the MMA. Do you have any suggestions as to questions I should be asking? Also, what was your recovery time like? How long before you could go back to work, get off the liquid diet, etc? How long were you on the pain meds after the surgery? I have had the GA and the Hyoid and after the first two days, tylenol eased what little pain there was. Before your surgery, did you ever get a choking feeling for no reason...you know, like your tongue was just to much for the back of you throat? I got it a lot while trying to use any of the air flow generators but once in a while I get it just sitting. From what I have read on this forum, you all seem to be much improved. Silly question but would you go through it again?
