Glad things are going well for you so far. I've a question.
I had the same procedures that you did, 16 days ago. However, I still have swelling and a sore throat. I am finally able to chew and swallow, and liquids go down fine. However, when I eat solids, they stick to the tongue, pallat, and throat, and then come up through my nose. I usually take a bite, then have to drink fluids to make them go down. Then I get full of mucous, blow my nose, and large particles of the solid food go all over. I usually go through a couple dozen kleenex with a small amount of solids. I won't be going to any restaurants soon! Has anyone else had such problems getting food to not stick, and having it come out of one's nose? Also, because of the swelling, I don't feel like there is a bigger passage way down than there was before. It actually feels smaller, and the back of my tongue seems to constantly stick to the thoat. Is this usual at this time after surgery?
