Hey RKF...good to hear from you.

I am indeed getting better. The pressure in my sinuses is easing considerably, as is the nasal congestion. It's much easier trying to sleep when you can breathe!
Overall, my experience is this:
Days 1-10 verrrrry difficult.
Day 11: had 6 dreams (but kept getting interrupted w/ difficulty breathing through the nose)
Day 13: No breathing difficulty, but difficult to sleep due to "bone pain" in jaw (ie hard to lay on my sides).
Day 14 (today): I seem to want to "do more"...I'm not saying I have much more energy, but I will admit that I have a more positive outlook on things.

I go back to work this Monday (told my secretary to schedule my patients lightly).

Saw the Oral surgeon yesterday...he said everything looks good. I will be having all this crap taken out of my mouth on April 1st, 2 days short of one month. I can't freaking wait. I am soooo hungry as I'm only eating (and living off of) milkshakes and soups.

Swelling has gone down about 90%. I still have some in my chin and my cheeks. I really can't comment on appearance change yet...I imagine when the chin swelling goes down, it'd be hard to tell I had work done.

I do have some "tighteness" under my chin from the GA (stretching of the muscles), and a little residual black and blue in the neck area.

Will keep ya updated!
Dave
