My stitches are still in and have not dissolved yet - I am on Day 16. They scratch the heck out of the back of my throat. I only gag a little when I brush my teeth. I have some slight food issues, but I am learning to get through them. Hopefully, the food issues will be a moot point soon. I am all over solid food now - including green and red chile (a New Mexico favorite).
