Wow:

You'll only be in the hospital for one day? Do you think you'll be up to it having the family over on Saturday?

I was going to say you'll enjoy not having to shave (I'm sure you want to grow the beard back) as it's rreeeeaally uncomfortable not feeling your chin, but I think most of the numbness is from the GA which you've already had.

You must be really excited (and relieved) to be finally getting this done.

To answer your questions:

1) I've lost 20 lbs (weighed myself yesterday)
2) I'm dreaming more, but still don't feel totally refreshed. I seem to wake up at 3:30 AM EVERY night. I think I'm going to try and start going to bed later.
3) With the swelling pretty much gone, I don't see a difference, nor does anyone else. Still some swelling I can feel in the sinuses. On my profile, I think the chin sticks out a little more (not out of proportion), and I think it may be an improvement.

Please make a post when you get home (if you're up to it). I think you'll find yourself going over and over these boards looking up every symptom you're going to experience.

Take care, and best of luck!
Dave
