I had the UP3 yesterday. Need help!

I had the UP3 yesterday and am hanging in there. However, in a couple weeks I have a family Passover dinner, in and a big wedding in a month. Can I look forward to enjoying thses events at all? Will I be able to eat solid foods and drink a bit of booze? I am also wondering, does anyone NEVER get used to their "new" throats and regret this? Oy vey, I worry. And by the way, this site ROCKS!
