I'm at the end of my....uvula!!!!!!

PLEASE! I implore anyone to be so swell as to offer ANY insight on post-UPPP "Lump in the Throat Feeling". My Uvula was very shortened down to a stub and while I'm healing I feel as though I want to hack up a small piece of flesh (how's that for graphic). Please, does anyone know if this is normal, and if it goes away? I'm digging everything about the UPPP except for this.
