Thank you Mstree. I had asked my husband in the past (bearing in mind that we have not shared the same bed for probably 3 years) if he had noticed me stop breathing - but he never lasted long enough to see - after 20 minutes of my insesant snoring he was out of there! Are there any other tell-tale signs I should be looking for (what does the jerking signify)? Even if this turns out not to be apnea I would be very much willing to go under the knife again if it would at least reduce my snoring. Incidentally I am 34 - I am somewhat overweight but the snoring started before the weight gain.
