UPPP - Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty - no kidding. Now you know why they call it UPPP. Includes removal of the uvula and reduction of the soft pallet. Other terms include CPAP - Continuous positive airway pressure, OSAS - Obstuctive Sleep Apnea Syndrome, UARS - Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome, RDI - Respiratory Disturbance Index, MSLT - Multi Sleep Latency Test, PLM - Periodic Limb Movements - and so on, and so on.......

One could obsess easily about this stuff (not me of cource :)
