dental appliance achy breaky jaw

Posted by gr8_mstree on January 30, 2004 at 08:02:36:

Hi there -
I've been looking through old forums and found some good stuff. But I'm curious if anyone is currently using a dental appliance and if they have found a good way to avoid the jaw soreness during the day. I have been wearing for 2 months and have no problem at night now (other than trying to talk and sounding like a bad impression of Abraham Lincoln trying to recite the Gettysburg address with duct tape over his mouth...) I regress.
Daytime soreness is really getting to be a problem, so I welcome any feedback.
Thanks!

Mstree
