Seems like every doctor has a different opinion.. Might try 1-2 more and see what they think. If it is not an "obvious" issue, you might want to wait and see how other things work. At least on the UPPP. That's a big deal! Keep in mind, you can treat symptoms now, but once they cut those things out, you can never get them back...
I started at 210 events per night and had UPPP, tongue reduction, septoplasty, turbinate reduction and toncilectomy. After all that, I was "down to" 156 events. Very frustrating. I then got a dental appliance and got down to 56 events per night. Still working toward slightly lower, but might end up back on CPAP.
The nasal surgery helped regardless of the other surgeries. There's nothing like being able to take a deep breath through your nose! (except maybe a Carribean vacation with warm beaches, good food and some para-sailing.)
