I think my surgeon used RFA, radiofrequency ablation. He said the technique he uses produces far less pain than traditional methods. Well then, I'd hate to feel what that's like!

Anyhoo... I think the pain at my soft palate (or what's left of it) and tonsils was/is about equal. Funny, now that the pain is diminishing and shrinking in area, I can feel just where it hurts. And I gotta say it's about equal at those two locations.
