Pickle I had septoplasty and my adenoids removed. They had not talked to me about the stitches but I found information later that dissolvable stitches are normally used. And I can clearly see the incision site near the entrance of my nostril and the offending stitches! It appears to be doing very little and the skin hasn't really knitted back-together. I managed to escape the dreaded splints (and packing too!)

I will call and ask the doc on Monday. Thanks for the help.
