Hi Pickle,
I have found the only way to get to the bottom of these things is to start ruling things out. You have to establish somewhat of a "baseline"... Besides the alcohol, do you take any medications? Any street drugs?
The only way I got to the bottom of mine was to have repeated sleep studies using the various tools to eliminate the apnea. (had CPAP, the multiple surgeries, now dental appliance... UGGG)
I am 29 and fit, so this has been fairly frustrating. But I had to give up alcohol to get an accurate reading on the sleep problems.
Keep us posted, and good luck!!!!
Mstree
