I had UPPP(soft palate and uvula flapped over instead of cutting)last Nov. I felt that my Dr. did a good job. There was pain when I was swallowing for the first week. It was not bad. But it didn't fix my sleep apnea. I live in Chicago too. Hope I can talk to you over the phone.

Now I am facing a decision whether I should have GA. I am going to see a Dr. at UC next week to get more input. What is HA? I guess MMA is the lower jaw advancement. It is?
